Hello Gorgeous!! I'm sorry I haven't posted as much as I want but I just figured out how to blog from my phone so I'm going to try to post more often. Today is Wednesday September 28 and we just got back from our first family vacation! We were on vacation for a week to celebrate Mommy & Daddy's two year wedding anniversary. We all had a lot of fun and created some memories, a lot of them of you being a very silly girl. Here are Daddy's favorite memories from our first family vacation:

* Before vacation, we went to Terre Haute to visit Great Grandma Murphy, G-MA Nancy's mommy. She just had her 88th birthday earlier in the week and she was so excited to see you! You were very silly at Great Grandma's, crawling around her apartment ( and Mommy & Daddy), laughing alot, and just being a funny little girl. You did something for the first time that day too: you waved Bah-Bye!! Great Grandma LOVED it that you waved Bye to her. Mommy and Daddy were very excited and proud too, but maybe you could stop growing up so fast??

* On Saturday before vacation, you spent the whole day with Grandma Cheryl so Mommy & Daddy could celebrate their anniversary together. We missed you a lot but we had an amazing day. We found a great new winery that your Mama loved, Cooper's Hawk, and had an awesome dinner at Eddie Merlot's, ANNND dessert from Cheesecake Factory! We were total fatties! While we had a lot of fun together, we missed you a lot...and were very nervous about you sleepIng at Grandma's because you usually were not very happy to be away from Mommy and Daddy for too long. Let's just say you have quite the reputation at our church's KidCity! But you did great and we were very happy to see you Sunday morning.

* Ok, this memory is funny now but let's just say that we all did not have a very good first night in Gatlinburg. Mommy did not feel too good at all but we decided to go to one of our favorite restaurants that night, Bubba Gump's shrimp company. So Mommy did not feel good to begin with and then Daddy almost died when a Cajun Shrimp got stuck in his throat and it felt like Daddy's throat was on fire! It was so bad that waiters came to check to see if I was OK and when they did, I blew a big thing of snot out my nose! (I was recovering from a sinus infection that week). So that was embarrassing to say the least! The fun didn't stop there my little biscuit. Daddy went to change your diaper, let's just say it did not go well. First of all, someone used the hand air dryer, which was crazy loud and freaked you out!! I had never seen you so upset! So you were going crazy, so crazy that it took Daddy 5 minutes just to get your pants back on you and as soon as I did, someone ran the air dryer again! You were so upset that you kicker Daddy in the face and gave him a bloody nose! By that time, it was time to go so we left: a sick Mommy, a hyperventilating Brynn, and a Daddy with a busted throat and bloody nose! We got some ice cream to end
the night and make us all feel better.

* We spent two more days in Gatlinburg, doing lots of shopping and eating lots of yummy food. You were such a good girl the whole time. You made lots of new friends at the hotel and everywhere we went. Our hotel room had a balcony and you loved to sit out there in the morning and wave to everyone that walked by. You made lots of friends at breakfast in the hotel, where you ate lots of bananas. And you were so funny just playing around the hotel room. You crawled over everything and loved to play with your stuffed animals in your pack N Play, especially your lady bug Pillow Pet from Aunt Katie.

* We then drove to Cincinnatti for a few days. We wanted to go there because we had lots of good memories from our anniversary vacation there last year, when Mommy was still pregnant with you! The drive to Cincinnatti was fun because you were in a very good mood and Mommy let you drive for a little bit:

* We went to the Cincinnatti Zoo on our first day there which was a lot of fun. You were very interested in all the different animals. You especially liked the big cats (probably because they reminded you of Riley!) and your favorite was the polar bears. Here are some pictures of you checking our the animals.

* This picture speaks for itself! You were so silly!!!

* On our last night in Cincinnatti, we went to one of our other favorite restaurants, the Melting Pot. It's a fondue restaurant that is very nice, very romantic. We thought it would be a great place to go as a family since you usually did very good at restaurants but boy were we wrong!! You were such a handful that night: you wouldn't sit in your high chair, you wouldn't sit with Mommy or Daddy, you wouldn't play with your toys, you wouldn't be quiet AT ALL! You even crawled all over the restaurant. It is very funny to look back on now but you had Mommy and Daddy WORN OUT by the end of the night at the Melting Pot.

* So our vacation was ready to come to an end on Saturday. We had a ton of fun but we were ready to be home. You especially must have been ready to be home because Mommy & Daddy woke up at 4:30 to find you standing up in your Pack N Play smiling and laughing, just straight cheesin!! So that was a perfect way to end vacation, you making Mommy & Daddy laugh a lot even if it was super early.

So that is it for this post. Mommy and Daddy will always remember this first vacation and now so can you!!

Love,

Daddy
